Semester Exam Project Reflection
1. The Semester Exam project was an intriguing way to learn about math concepts and to review the material that we've covered this semester. By creating unique problems, I felt like I was able to be proactive in creating our semester exam. At times I felt like the process of creating the problems was dry and mundane, but ultimately I am thankful that I had the experience to take part in this project.
2. To study for the upcoming exam, I would like to take advantage of as many office hours as possible. Secondly, I would like to study with friends and come up with a practice strategy that I can follow up until the day of the test. Thirdly, when I am not studying with peers or Effi, I am planning on completing the practice problems in our Algebra 2 textbook to fully prepare for the test.
3. I feel very happy with my first semester in Algebra 2. I have worked as hard as I could in this class, and I believe that my grade in this class is a reflection of this fact. Through independent work as well as class work with peers, I felt that I was able to flourish in Algebra 2 concepts and gained a mastery of the material. Additionally, by being a student teacher and leading students through chapters 10.1-10.4, I was able to learn how to communicate math concepts in a leadership role, which helped me step out of my comfort zone. All of these experiences constructed what I felt was a very strong semester for me.
